Web Links
Here are some hopefully helpful links to other web sites with a brief description
of each. If you know of another site that we should link to from this page, email
the webmaster at the address at the foot of the page and we’ll do our best to include
it (no promises though).
NODA (National Operatic & Dramatic Association) - this is the association of amateur
operatic societies. Their site offers information about summer courses, insurance
and a comprehensive listing of the amateur shows currently in production around the
UK.
The Guide to Musical Theatre - tells you just about everything you could wish to
know about every show imaginable. A very useful site.
The Guide to Light Opera and Operetta - this site does the same as the one above,
but for operetta.
Stage Photography & My World My Eyes - these are the sites of the photographer George
Riddell.
Oxfordshire Drama Network - this is the umbrella organisation for Oxfordshire-based
non-professional drama and operatic societies, offering all the latest news on shows
being staged.
Oxford Operatic Society - this is the site of OOS, our near neighbours in Oxford.
The Newbury Theatre - a good site packed full of information about shows that are
on in our area, reaching from Oxford to Reading.
The Abingdon Arts Festival - here you’ll find the programme of events for this annual
festival.
The Amey Theatre - here’s some information about the Amey Theatre, where AOS perform,
from the Abingdon School site.
Oxford Inspires - the Oxford Inspires web site lists cultural events taking place
in Oxfordshire.
Where Can We Go? - this site lists events from around the UK, including the next
AOS show when relevant.
