We were all extremely anxious in the lead up to October’s All Shook Up<\/em>.\u00a0 We knew that our audience would be much smaller than normal, as we’d decided to implement social-distancing in our ticket sales.\u00a0 But we really didn’t know whether our audience would be ready to return to the theatre as the long tail of this pandemic drags on.\u00a0 And we didn’t know whether a much smaller audience would create the wonderful atmosphere that we all love in the Amey Theatre.<\/p>\n

\"All<\/a><\/p>\n

So, this post is just to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who came along to see the show, for clapping and cheering, for joining us in the finale dance, and just for being your wonderful selves.\u00a0 All Shook Up<\/em> was a sell out.\u00a0 By Thursday of show week there wasn’t a ticket to be had.\u00a0 We even had to start a waiting list for any cancellations.\u00a0 You were the stars of the week.<\/p>\n

So, now we move on with a little more confidence toward Made In Dagenham<\/em> in the Spring of 2022.\u00a0 We’ll always look back on 2020 as the year we lost – the first time in over 60 years that AOS didn’t entertain Abingdon.\u00a0 But now we’re back, and with an audience like this, we can’t wait for the curtain to go up again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
