Legally Blonde

AOS is having a Blonde moment in the Spring of 2027

Based on an original novel and the 2001 movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods, a California university sorority queen obsessed with her dreams of marrying her rich boyfriend, Warner Huntington, and living happily ever after.

But when Warner dumps Elle for being too shallow to be his future bride, she determines to follow him to Harvard and win him back. Along the way, Elle learns that there’s more to life than cute clothes and her beloved chihuahua, Bruiser Woods. She also finds that she has a talent for the law. Perhaps Warner underestimated Elle’s potential?

First produced in the US in 2007, Legally Blonde  remained a hit on its 2010 debut on London’s West End, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for ‘Best New Musical’; a production that Paul Taylor for The Independent called “Ridiculously enjoyable from start to finish.”

Legally Blonde is bursting with energy and laughs, so you can expect AOS to bring all that excitement to Abingdon in the Spring of 2027. We’ll be casting the principals late in 2026, and we’re already wondering who will be our own Elle Woods. You’ll find out in April 2027.
